GivEnergy
GivEnergy's AIO is aggressively engineered for modern time-of-use tariffs. The 6.0 kW continuous output allows it to rapidly charge from the grid during cheap overnight windows, making it highly lucrative even without solar panels. Its integration with the GivEnergy Gateway enables seamless whole-home backup, reacting in milliseconds to grid failure. However, the lack of modular expansion (you cannot easily daisy-chain multiple AIO units) means it may be less suitable when future capacity upgrades are anticipated.
The software ecosystem is exceptional, offering deep API access and native integrations with dynamic energy tariffs. The 12-year warranty provides excellent long-term security. It is physically imposing and requires significant wall strength.
The AIO is exceptionally heavy (174 kg) and absolutely requires specialized lifting equipment or a strong multi-person crew. It is frequently paired with the GivEnergy Gateway unit to satisfy G100 export limitation requirements and enable island-mode backup.
